Howlin at the Moon

I took this picture at about 5 o'clock in the morning while at the cottage the Thanksgiving weekend.

It was very quiet....quiet and very cold out on the balcony~

..and this one was taken a day later as we were driving back to Calgary through the Icefield's Parkway at about 9 in the evening. The moon had just come up over the mountains and it was so bright I had to put down my visor to block the glare.

It's great to be away from the City for being able to see the moon and the stars so clearly.

wow...great shots!!
In the second photo...Sarah-Lou says it looks like a women's face laying down (the mountains)....and...in the words of a beautiful little 11 year old angel..."Momma, don't be sad Auntie is far away, the stars and the moon bring us closer, because we have the same one". WOW...what they think about...puts things in perspective:)
