Fat Lips & Toothfairies

First I really must apologize for not keeping up with my 'blahg' of late - I had forgotten how long it had been since my last post...my excuse is that I've been pretty busy between work, studying for my FMA, my family, and trying to get the most out of what little good weather we had of summer.

September's been a pretty 'big' month for Paden. Starting grade one! My little bear has no more 'cub' in him...wwwwaaaaaaaahhh...all of his pants were up around his ankles...wwwaaaahhhhh....he went from a size 13 toddler to a size 2 youth in shoes....wwwaaaahhh...and he has 3 (count'em) 3!!!! wiggly teeth.....*insert blubbering here*
He's reading at a level I don't think I hit til at least grade three(no 'see dick run' in this curriculum), he's reading like a little sponge - cereal boxes, tv commercials, road signs, juice boxes... the other day he comes up to me and says 'Mom, what's fat lips?'...huh? ' see right here on the bottle of gatorade...fat lips!!' He showed me the bottle. (we've taken to reading the labels on a lot of items since my husband needs to watch his sugars)...I started to laugh - not fat lips buddy, fats/lipides.... hahahahaha....crack me up!

With his wiggly teeth going into hyperdrive, he wanted to know how much he would be getting from the toothfairy for giving up the first one to go (you think that's bad, you should see him play monopoly...wipe me clean out the little bugger!) So we went and found out all about the toothfairy.

I did alot of his fall clothing shopping at LandsEnd...thanks Alissa for the tip, it was hassle free.
Paden was a 'bit' upset because some of the sizes were 'toddler', 'little boys' and boys... 'I'm NOT a little boy Mom'.....*sigh*...I know buddy...

Well I am glad to see that you have taken the time to stop for a few and keep us up with your life... I even visited the tooth fairy land LOL....
Don't blink because that toddler 13 that turned into size 2 youth will soon be a man's 13 and he is all grown up... ohhhh so sad the thought...
thanks for the calls this weekend past.. it was great talking to you... and keep up with the news from your side of Canada Love Jo

Don't ya know that the FIRST tooth is worth more than the rest!!! Like $5 or $10 bucks!!! They grow up too fast!! I always ask Tyler if he can "grow smaller!".
